In this first iteration of their happening, the performers search for contact with bones, liquids and different ways to hold each other.

They aim to create a temporary space, transforming the connections on the dancefloor and opening beyond the social expectations of dancing together.

Martín M. Wollmann (they/them) is a performer, director, osteopath, and interdisciplinary artist from Buenos Aires (AR). They live and work in Zurich (CH). Their practice unfolds across performance and embodied research. Working through somatic practice, osteopathy, voice, and movement, they develop performative constellations in which the body appears as an archive of affect, memory, and transformation. Recent projects include Galope, a dance-solo exploring healing influencers on social media; Fake-Gym, an immersive installation in dialogue with self-optimisation imaginaries; and presentations at Gessnerallee, Rote Fabrik, and Tanzhaus Zürich.

Rafał Pierzyński (blask, V, they/them) *1991 in Poland. They are a trans non-binary performance artist living and working in Zürich, CH. Their practice is deeply rooted in personal experience and artistic research of touch. They explore touching as a primordial modality of being in the world, a vector that transcends the separation between the body and the mind, technology and nature. In their interdisciplinary projects, they often create immersive performances on the borders of installation and treatment. For Pierzyński, expanding the notion of touch from a queer perspective is essential to the deconstruction of representations of the body and fundamental to our survival. They co-created the project DIVAS in Zurich.
","cover":{"url":"https://backslashfestival.com/media/pages/artists/martin-m-wollmann-rafal-pierzynski/c78e889ddc-1781734261/martin-m-wollmann-rafal-pierzynski-1200x-q80.webp","alt":"Backslash Festival 2026","width":2522,"height":3438},"prev":{"id":"margaretha-jungling-alina-arshi-luc-hafliger","title":"margaretha jüngling, Alina Arshi & Luc Häfliger","uri":"artists/margaretha-jungling-alina-arshi-luc-hafliger"},"next":{"id":"ma-naa-b2b-caramelo-gabanna","title":"MÂNAA b2b Caramelo Gabanna","uri":"artists/ma-naa-b2b-caramelo-gabanna"}}
